On Friday 5th May, Castlecroft celebrated King Charles II’sI coronation. We came to school dressed in red, white and blue and did various activities like decorating crowns. When lunchtime started, Reception to Year 6 went into the hall and had a ‘Right, Royal Picnic’, that included ham or cheese sandwiches, jelly, yoghurt, sausage or cheese and onion rolls, crisps, cupcakes and finally carrot and cucumber sticks. The picnic was delicious.
After we had eaten, we went outside to play. We even listened to the ‘National Anthem’.
Our King’s coronation celebrations were amazing.
